I just had the same exact issue on the same exact phone. after doing some digging it seems like this happens when android has a problem optimizing one or more apps, so it stubbornly retries all of them. so i uninstalled apps one-by-one and rebooted, and the problem went away after uninstalling supersu.. Mandatory updates! this is why i ditched my htc vivid a long time ago. it would "optimize" every time that i powered it up. fortunately it only happens on this phone every few months but if you. Android 5.1 random restarts and optimize app showing 1-1031 of 1031 messages. my phone got to the point where it was unusable unless it was plugged into a charger. i ordered a new lg g3 today. hopefully google does ruin it too. it start optimizing all my apps again..
